Description
Kenton County is soliciting bids for a turnkey or split award covering one new 2027 Ford Transit 250 MR AWD SRW cargo van, delivery, and installation of a prisoner transport insert and related equipment. Vendors may bid on the van, the van upfit, or both, with costs itemized separately. The broader upfitting scope includes the Transit van, seven County-supplied 2027 Dodge Durango Pursuit vehicles, and one County-supplied 2027 Chevrolet Tahoe SSV. Required work includes emergency lighting, sirens and controls, vehicle consoles, radios and antennas, prisoner partitions and transport equipment, cameras or camera-system installation, power distribution, reflective graphics, and related installation, materials, shipping, and pickup/delivery. Upfit bidders must provide a one-year installation warranty, an EVT-certified technician, Whelen dealer and programming capability, and AXON vehicle-installation certification. Required submission items include the bid certification, deviations or exceptions statement, completed W-9, certificate of insurance, and Kenton County occupational license; the technical response without cost is optional.
