Description
The City of Johns Creek is soliciting bids for the Town Center Streetscape project, also identified as Lakefield Drive Improvements. The work includes streetscape improvements with on-street parking and pedestrian facilities along Lakefield Drive; construction of a connector road between Johns Creek Parkway and Lakefield Drive; reconstruction of the City Hall west entrance with a raised intersection; decorative elements; roadway widening, paving, curb and gutter, sidewalks, multi-use paths, drainage, erosion and sediment control, landscaping, utility adjustments, pavement markings, signage, and traffic signal installations. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, licenses, traffic control, utility coordination, and incidental work. The project requires compliance with Georgia Department of Transportation and City specifications, ADA requirements, NPDES requirements, and applicable laws. The bid requires three references for similar projects, a 5% bid bond, and 100% payment and performance bonds. The anticipated performance period is 540 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
