Description
Southwest Delaware County Municipal Authority is soliciting bids for upgrades to the Woodbrook Pump Station and related facilities. The work includes replacing pump controls and variable-frequency drives, installing a harmonic filter, replacing a Pump 2 motor, providing wet-well lighting, electrical equipment, instrumentation, SCADA panels, SCADA programming and integration, administration-building hardware, electrical studies, testing, permits, mobilization, demobilization, and restoration. The project also includes miscellaneous demolition and masonry, sealants, coatings, and related construction work. The specifications require a systems integrator for the SCADA work and limit subcontracting to no more than 50% of the total bid value. The estimated contract value is $100,000 to $600,000. The contract requires completion within 180 calendar days after receipt of the Owner's Notice to Proceed. A bid bond or certified check equal to 10% of the bid package is required, and the successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract sum. Insurance requirements include commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, employer's liability, and related certificates.
