Description
Public Utility District No. 1 of Snohomish County is soliciting a Small Works Roster contractor to construct an Operations South Storage Concrete Pad. The work includes saw cutting and demolishing approximately 200 linear feet by 13 feet 7 inches of existing asphalt pavement; excavation, grading, subgrade preparation, reinforcement placement, concrete placement, finishing, curing, and restoration; and furnishing all required labor, materials, equipment, temporary facilities, and construction expertise. Drawings specify a reinforced concrete pavement section with #4 bars at 12 inches on center each way, compacted subbase, and associated asphalt patching. The engineer's estimate is $65,000. Contractors must be listed on the District's Small Works Roster under the Concrete Construction category before bidding. The successful contractor must complete the project within 30 calendar days after the effective date of the District's written Notice to Proceed and provide 100% performance security within 10 calendar days after the Notice of Award. The proposal requires pricing for asphalt demolition and all other work, along with bidder responsibility, experience, subcontractor, personnel, equipment, surety, and bidder information.
