Description
This solicitation is for the manufacture of a Discharge Module. The contract will include requirements for manufacturing and quality assurance. The module must adhere to MIL-STD-130, REV N, 16 NOV 2012 for physical identification. Changes in design, material, servicing, or part number require notification and approval from the NAVICP-MECH Contracting Officer via a written change order. Preservation, packaging, packing, and marking shall be in accordance with the Contract/Purchase Order Schedule and MIL-STD-2073 packaging. The solicitation also references various documents and standards, including those obtainable from the Department of Defense Single Stock Point (DODSSP) and other specific naval commands. Vendors must be authorized distributors of the original manufacturer's item and provide proof of authorization on company letterhead. Distribution statements apply to all documents and drawings provided.
