The New York Power Authority (NYPA) is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to pre-qualify renewable energy project developers and investors for co-development and co-investment opportunities. NYPA seeks partners for projects involving solar photovoltaics, wind (land-based and offshore), battery energy storage, green hydrogen, e-fuels, geothermal electricity, and related transmission. Respondents may qualify for co-development (including build-transfer), co-investment, or both. The RFQ is open on a rolling basis until December 30, 2026. Qualified respondents will be invited to participate in future RFPs or other procurement functions. NYPA emphasizes its enhanced authority under New York State law to develop renewable energy projects and support the state's climate goals.
