Description
Brookings Municipal Utilities is soliciting construction bids for roof replacement at the East Water Treatment Plant. The work includes removing and disposing of the existing ballasted insulation and roof membrane; furnishing and installing new six-inch insulation, a fully adhered 60-mil black membrane roof, membrane flashing at walls, curbs, pipes, and penetrations, new metal coping, and cedar shake roofing. The anticipated total bid price is $200,000 to $300,000. The base bid must provide for substantial completion by June 15, 2027, and final completion by July 15, 2027. Each bid must include either a certified, cashier's, or bank draft check for 5% of the bid amount or a 10% bid bond.
