Description
The University of Utah, on behalf of the Utah Education and Telehealth Network consortium, is soliciting proposals for leased lit-fiber Ethernet WAN services, shared backbone connections, standalone Internet access, and Category One network equipment. The procurement covers hundreds of schools, libraries, higher-education facilities, tribal libraries, and other participating locations throughout Utah, with requested capacities ranging from 100 Mbps to 100 Gbps. Wireless and dark-fiber solutions are generally not accepted unless specifically requested. WAN and backbone pricing is requested primarily for a five-year term with one optional one-year extension, while Internet access pricing is requested for three years with two sequential one-year extensions. Installation and initial configuration are included in the requested services. Vendors must submit applicable cost proposals separately from the technical proposal, provide the required RFP attachments and compliance summary, acknowledge addenda, and meet applicable E-Rate, SPIN, FCC Form 473/SPAC, and procurement requirements.
