Description
Tacoma Public Schools is soliciting bids for two demolition projects. Project A requires complete demolition of all buildings at the Madison Early Learning Site. Project B requires selective demolition of approximately 8,000 square feet of the south wing of Browns Point Elementary School, restoration of the remaining hallway wall penetration, installation of a new security fence, and removal of existing playground equipment. No hazardous-material removal is required for Project B. Bidders may submit separate prices for either project or both projects. The District may award either project individually, award both projects to one bidder as a combined award, or award the projects separately to two responsible bidders. Required submission materials include bid security or a bid bond, a completed and signed bid form with addenda acknowledgment, the project bid table, inclusion policy, contractor qualification form, subcontractor information, equal employment opportunity form, bidder contractor form, and apprenticeship utilization plan. The substitution request form is optional.
