Description
Jacksonville State University is soliciting bids from qualified dealerships to provide used vehicles for its Capital Planning and Facilities Department. Eligible vehicles include sedans, vans, trucks, service-body trucks, dump trucks, lift trucks, and other makes and models. Vehicles must have more than 500 odometer miles and may be sold as-is without a dealer warranty. The university anticipates making multiple awards based on a percentage discount from published internet catalog pricing, including delivery. No annual purchase quantity is guaranteed. Awarded vendors must accept a university purchase order or a deposit of no more than $1,000 per vehicle, although the university states that it does not agree to prepay or pay deposits on equipment orders. Bids must include the required bid forms, compliance certifications, vendor-registration documentation, and tax form.
