Description
The City seeks a contractor to rehabilitate a residence and repair its damaged foundation. The work includes foundation repairs and leveling, pier installation, selective demolition, sidewalk and driveway replacement, roof and rafter repairs, carpentry, masonry, painting, and grading and stormwater pollution prevention. The broader rehabilitation scope also includes electrical and plumbing work, HVAC, doors and windows, flooring, insulation, drywall, cabinets, and other interior and exterior improvements, as detailed in the plans and specifications. Bidders must submit unit pricing for the listed work and include a $10,000 contingency allowance. The project has a 90-working-day construction period. A bid guarantee of at least 5% of the total bid is required; original bid and bid-guaranty documents must be hand-delivered, while electronic bids and guaranties may be submitted through Cit-E-Bid. Required bid materials include the bid response, applicable forms, and signed acknowledgment of Addendum No. 1. The Certificate of Interested Parties (Form 1295) is due after award, not with the bid.
