Description
Horry County Community Development is soliciting bids from qualified, licensed contractors to rehabilitate a single-family home. The contractor must provide the labor, materials, equipment, and related services required by the bid documents and work write-up. Bidders may bid on either Division I or Division II, but must price every item, including base and alternate items, in the selected division. The successful bidder must complete at least 60% of the construction work; subcontractors may perform the remainder with written approval from Horry County or its designee. The bid must include the required bid forms and a bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid. The awarded contractor must provide performance and labor-and-material payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract price, at contract execution. The contract term is 60 calendar days from the homeowner's signature, and completion is due within 60 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. The work is funded through CDBG and a USDA Section 533 Housing Preservation Grant; an active SAM.gov registration or proof of submission is required for award.
