Description
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) is issuing an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the supply of high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe and related fittings. The contract will cover estimated quantities of smooth interior pipe (Type S) in sizes from 12" to 84", as well as corrugated polyethylene tubing (CPT) in 15" and 18" sizes. The pipe must meet AASHTO M294 Type S or Type C for sizes 12" and larger, and AASHTO M252 for smaller sizes. Gasketed watertight joints are required, meeting ASTM F477 and ASTM D3212. The contract will be awarded by district sections (North, Canal, Central, South), and bidders may bid on one or all sections. Delivery is required within 10 working days of order, F.O.B. destination, to various maintenance yards in Delaware. The initial contract term is one year, with four optional one-year extensions. The bid due date is September 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM local time. Bids must be submitted via the Bonfire Procurement Portal. Required attachments include a Non-Collusion Statement, Subcontractor Information Form, Business References Form, Exception Form, Confidentiality Form, and the Bid Price Form.
