Description
The City of Charlotte is seeking a contractor for the Northlake Centre Parkway Sidewalk Gap project, consisting of approximately 270 feet of new sidewalk, 147 linear feet of new safety rail, steel beam guardrail installation and removal, grading, erosion and sedimentation control, traffic control, mobilization, and site restoration. The work must comply with applicable ADA, North Carolina, NCDOT, and City of Charlotte requirements. A North Carolina general contractor license and registration with the North Carolina Secretary of State are required at bid registration. The estimated cost is $100,000–$250,000, and the contract period is 120 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed through completion. The contractor must self-perform at least 40% of the original contract amount. There is no disadvantaged-business participation goal. Bids must include the bid forms and supplements and the itemized bid spreadsheet; a bid bond is required if the total bid exceeds $300,000.
