Description
The Marine Depot Maintenance Command requires an MTU/Rolls-Royce Solutions America-authorized service provider to restore MTU 20V4000 engine crankcases and crankshafts to OEM serviceable condition. The contractor must provide labor, facilities, equipment, specialized tooling, materials, supervision, and technical expertise in accordance with OEM specifications and tolerances. The scope includes crankcase line-bore machining, optional crankcase deck machining, optional crankline repair, crankshaft inspection and polishing, optional crankshaft grinding, installation of liner-bore repair rings, and associated replacement components. The contractor must maintain quality control, provide inspection and dimensional verification reports and repair certification, package the completed components, and return them to the Government. Work must be completed within 90–120 days of receipt, and all seven contract line items must be priced in an aggregate quote.
