Description
The Metropolitan Council is soliciting bids for Phase 2 rehabilitation of Interceptor 1-MN-346, including removal and replacement of approximately 2,050 feet of interceptor sewer and improvements to City of Minneapolis sewer, water, stormwater, and surface infrastructure along 29th Avenue South between East 53rd and East 56th Streets and at an existing lift station. The work includes piling, excavation dewatering, temporary wastewater conveyance, contaminated-soil handling, and sewer and water service work for 72 homes. The contract has an 8% Metropolitan Council Underutilized Business (MCUB) participation goal. Bids must be submitted electronically through QuestCDN by the stated deadline, and bidders must be registered plan holders. Project plans contain nonpublic data and require acceptance of the stated nondisclosure agreement before access. A pre-bid meeting will be held virtually, and a separate site visit is scheduled at Bossen Field Park.
