Description
Sinte Gleska University seeks an independent administrative law judge to handle employee grievance and personnel hearings as assigned, with no guaranteed minimum volume. Duties include reviewing case materials, coordinating schedules and prehearing deadlines, conducting conferences and hearings, managing testimony and exhibits, maintaining the hearing record, protecting confidential personnel information, and issuing timely written decisions with findings and conclusions. Proposers must have a law degree and current bar admission in good standing, relevant hearing or comparable experience, and the ability to remain impartial and meet deadlines. Proposals must describe qualifications and relevant experience, the proposed hearing approach, availability and remote-hearing capability, fees, at least three professional references, conflicts and disciplinary history, available resources, and Indian-preference eligibility documentation if claimed. The selected provider must be able to obtain a business license through the Rosebud Sioux Tribe Revenue Department.
