Description
The Minnesota Department of Public Safety, through its Office of Traffic Safety, seeks professional and technical services from an experienced sworn law enforcement peace officer, including an eligible retiree, to serve as a Law Enforcement Liaison. The liaison will connect state, county, tribal, and municipal law enforcement agencies with the Office of Traffic Safety, encourage participation in traffic-safety enforcement programs, and increase prioritization of traffic safety among participating agencies. The service area is the northwest region of Minnesota, comprising 23 specified counties: Becker, Beltrami, Cass, Clay, Clearwater, Crow Wing, Douglas, Grant, Hubbard, Kittson, Lake of the Woods, Mahnomen, Marshall, Morrison, Norman, Otter Tail, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake, Roseau, Todd, Wadena, and Wilkin.
