Description
The City seeks fixed-unit-price supply of asphaltic materials, including asphalt binder, aggregate, and plant-mixed asphalt mixtures meeting the specified regional and City standards. The supplier must deliver materials to City trucks at its plant in varying quantities and at varying times, support substantial daily production during paving season and smaller quantities during winter operations, and keep its plant heated and operable year-round. The contractor must provide mix designs, quality-control testing results, scale tickets, and consistent material quality; the scope also includes quarterly price adjustments tied to the asphalt cement index.
