Description
The project involves resurfacing the front parking lot at the Fleet Services facility. Work includes milling the existing asphalt to a depth of 3 inches, placing Type C asphalt surface course at the specified application rate, and pavement markings for 28 standard parking spaces and one ADA parking space. Full-depth 6-inch patching is to be performed only as needed if unsuitable subgrade is encountered; listed quantities are estimates, and payment is based on verified work quantities under a unit-price contract. The contractor must coordinate with utility owners, protect existing utilities, manage traffic and site access, and provide a construction schedule before work begins. A pre-construction meeting is required. The work is subject to applicable construction specifications and special provisions, including asphalt mix-design submittal, inspection, and a one-year workmanship and materials warranty.
