Description
The district seeks a contractor to provide and manage water treatment chemicals and services for its hydronic heating and cooling systems, including boilers, heat pumps, chilled-water systems, and cooling towers. Work includes routine inspections and laboratory analysis; chemical treatment and feed-equipment maintenance; scheduled visits and electronic service reports; corrosion-coupon monitoring; and Legionella testing and, when required, remediation. The scope covers 27 open-loop systems and 81 closed-loop systems across district facilities, with specified visit frequencies and water-quality standards. The contractor must use its own direct employees with at least five years of relevant experience; subcontractors are prohibited. The solicitation also requests a technical treatment program, chemical product data and safety data sheets, transition and cleaning plans, reporting samples, technician qualifications, and at least three comparable references. Pricing is submitted on the district-provided bid form, including annual districtwide treatment pricing and unit prices for additional work and equipment.
