Description
Pierce County is soliciting a qualified general contractor to provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, incidentals, supervision, subcontractor coordination, and overhead for earthwork and paving projects on Pierce County Parks properties and trails managed by the Parks Department on county rights-of-way or easements. The work is a public works contract and may include a variety of site construction projects. The initial contract value is not to exceed $1,000,000, with the County reserving the right to add funds as needed. The initial term is one year, with an option to extend for one additional year. Bidders must submit a 5% bid bond; a 100% payment and performance bond will be required for the unit-price public works contract amount. Prevailing Washington State wage rates apply, and 5% retainage will be held for the full not-to-exceed contract amount.
