Description
Educational Options Foundation is seeking provider bids for Category One data transmission and internet access services for 16 service units, with bandwidth options from 10 Mbps through 1 Gbps. Bidders must provide pricing at bandwidth increments across that range and offer one-, three-, and five-year contract options; three- and five-year options must allow bandwidth upgrades during the contract term. The scope may include recurring service charges, special construction, installation and activation, network equipment, software, maintenance and operations, outage reporting, basic technical support without additional service fees, and a service-level agreement. Required implementation activities include direct handoff to the owner's local area network, trenching, boring, plowing, conduit and handhole installation, vaults, poles, fiber installation, splicing, termination, labeling, testing and acceptance, and project management. The contract is contingent on E-Rate funding.
