Description
Salt Lake City Corporation, through its Department of Airports, is soliciting proposals from qualified investment banking firms to establish an Underwriter Pool for the sale of General Airport Revenue Bonds and potentially other debt. Selected firms may serve as book-running senior manager, co-senior manager, or co-manager for transactions, including a planned 2027 refunding bond issuance. Services include financing and structuring advice, cash-flow and bond-sizing analyses, coordination with financial advisors and bond counsel, rating-agency participation, investor marketing, bond-sale leadership, closing assistance, and post-sale reporting. The Underwriter Pool will remain in effect for three years beginning November 1, 2026, with possible one-year extensions. Respondents must satisfy specified airport-financing experience requirements, provide firm and personnel qualifications, airport-finance references, a case study, financing recommendations, and proposed fees for a hypothetical $500 million issue. The proposal is limited to 13 pages, including a one-page cover letter, and must be submitted as a single word-searchable PDF through the designated procurement portal.
