Description
Wright State University is soliciting a general contractor for the Lake Campus Workforce Development Project. The work includes construction of an approximately 10,000-square-foot workforce development center, an addition to Trenary Hall, and interior renovations. Major scopes include concrete, structural steel, masonry, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire suppression, site utilities, paving, landscaping, and related finishes and equipment. The project also includes six additive alternates covering corridor refurbishment, temperature-control systems, a west entrance canopy, mechanical-yard screening, room refinishing, and landscaping. The estimated general contract cost is $4,447,383, with separately listed alternate estimates totaling $194,700. The project is subject to prevailing-wage, domestic-steel, Equal Employment Opportunity, and Ohio EDGE participation requirements, including a 5 percent EDGE participation goal. Bidders must submit an electronic bid, an electronic facsimile of bid security, and the required electronic bid-form information; the original bid guaranty is due after bid opening as specified in the solicitation.
