The Alabama Department of Public Health is requesting fire alarm monitoring for an existing system at the Talladega County Health Department. The awarded contractor must monitor the system 24 hours a day, seven days a week, contact the facility or designated representative whenever the system is activated, and notify the appropriate fire department or law-enforcement agency. Monitoring must be cellular-based. The scope also includes as-needed fire alarm repair and service, with pricing provided as either an hourly rate or service-call amount. The initial contract period is October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, with renewal options for up to five years and a total contract cost of up to $25,000. Services are to be invoiced monthly with the service dates and amounts billed identified.
