Description
Monroe City School Board is soliciting bids for a one-time purchase of janitorial supplies awarded by individual item. The requested products include cleaning towels, bleach, paper towels, toilet tissue, floor pads, rayon mops, mop handles, scrapers, restroom and glass cleaners, air freshener, disinfectant, wax stripper, buckets, dust pans, nitrile gloves, classroom wastebaskets, and replacement scraper blades. Equivalent brands may be proposed where permitted, and bidders must identify the manufacturer, brand, model, or item number as applicable. The bid requires item-specific supporting materials. Samples are required for designated products, including cleaning towels, paper towels, toilet tissue, and certain other items; safety data sheets and specification sheets are required for designated chemicals; literature is required for specified floor pads and disinfectant; and an on-site performance demonstration is required for the wax stripper. Products must meet applicable EPA, USDA, FDA, DMSA, ASTA, and OSHA requirements. Deliveries are split across specified dates, with all materials generally due within 45 business days after the purchase order unless otherwise specified.
