Description
The Town of Hempstead Department of Planning and Economic Development is requesting qualifications from architectural firms or individuals to provide professional architectural services on an as-needed basis for ongoing and proposed community development and other Town projects. Potential assignments include preliminary concepts for commercial facade improvements; plans, specifications, and bid documents for public bidding; field supervision and payment schedule preparation; and site plan preparation, review, and oversight for development and redevelopment projects. Respondents must demonstrate familiarity with the Hempstead Town Code, Town of Hempstead Building Zone Ordinance, and applicable federal and New York State regulations. Proposals must include the organization and principals, available staff and resumes, a fee schedule including the multiplier, applicable work experience in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, and references. The contract will have a one-year term with a Town option for one additional year.
