Description
The Town of Oyster Bay is seeking a qualified professional firm to develop and implement a comprehensive employee health and safety program supporting OSHA and New York Public Employee Safety and Health (PESH) compliance. The scope includes reviewing regulatory requirements, developing a New York Labor Law compliance program, inspecting Town facilities, preparing written compliance reports, interpreting regulations, and recommending corrective actions. The contractor will review and improve departmental health and safety policies, procedures, and work rules; develop, continue, evaluate, and update training programs; conduct annual site health and safety audits for facilities associated with Parks, Public Works, General Services, and Environmental Resources; and provide written reports, technical assistance, incident investigations, regulatory research, rapid-response inspections, and on-call support. Proposals must include an introduction letter, company overview and key personnel qualifications, facilities and staffing information, experience with the Town, a description of available services with itemized fees for 2027, 2028, and option years, a Company Information Sheet, and a current Certificate of Insurance.
