Description
The Board of Cooperative Educational Services of Nassau County, together with participating school districts and municipalities, is soliciting bids for recurring boiler, ductwork, kitchen exhaust, and related HVAC cleaning services. The work includes skilled labor, equipment, materials, inspection, cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, debris removal, service reporting, and related safety measures. Kitchen exhaust systems are to be cleaned twice annually, and routine and emergency service requirements are specified. Subcontracting is not permitted. The contract establishes labor-rate pricing for duct and exhaust cleaning, sheet-metal work, and steamfitter work for an initial period not exceeding one year from award, with possible mutual extensions for two additional one-year periods. Bidders must demonstrate at least three years of continuous commercial experience and provide required training, licensing, prevailing-wage, insurance, and other compliance documentation. The solicitation is awarded as a whole or otherwise at the buyer's discretion, subject to the stated competition and responsibility requirements.
