Description
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services seeks a contractor to implement a school cardiac emergency preparedness program. Required services include training and technical assistance for developing and implementing Cardiac Emergency Response Plans, coordination with local emergency medical services, CPR, basic first-aid, and AED-use training, emergency preparedness drills, and assistance with Project ADAM Heart Safe School designation. Plans must address response teams, AED placement and maintenance, staff training, drills, emergency-services integration, ongoing review, and AED registration. The contractor may also provide AEDs, replacement pads and batteries, readiness checks, and maintenance services. The contractor must meet specified experience requirements, provide a project manager and working team, submit program and fiscal reports, and manage contract-related records and expenditures. Proposals must include the required response exhibits covering pricing, organizational experience and past-performance case studies, team qualifications, methodology and work plan, participation commitments, and business-compliance certifications. The original contract period runs from the effective date through June 30, 2027, with two optional one-year renewals. The pricing page states not-to-exceed amounts of $1,225,800 for the original period and $2,000,000 for each renewal period.
