Description
The U.S. Marine Corps is conducting a Sources Sought/Request for Information for a one-time purchase of backflow prevention assemblies to support Marine Corps Air Station Yuma. The requirement includes reduced-pressure principle, pressure vacuum breaker, and double-check valve assemblies ranging from 1/2 inch through 6 inches, with specified models, dimensions, and quantities totaling 57 units. Equivalent devices from nationally recognized manufacturers and products from multiple manufacturers are permitted if they meet or exceed the stated specifications. Assemblies must comply with applicable Arizona Department of Environmental Quality cross-connection-control and backflow-prevention requirements, Arizona Administrative Code R18-4-215, applicable potable-water material requirements, and the minimum salient characteristics. Respondents must submit a brief capabilities statement including DUNS and CAGE information, socioeconomic status, confirmation of compliance with the specifications, and relevant experience on similar efforts within the last three years, including project descriptions, contract numbers, and contract values. This is market research only, not a request for proposals, bids, or quotes; the anticipated delivery requirement is 60 days after award or sooner.
