Description
Jefferson County Drainage District No. 6 is soliciting sealed bids for one nominally 50-by-250-foot open-sided, pre-engineered metal equipment storage building at its Walden Road facility. The scope includes furnishing and/or erecting the building, with 25-foot structural bays, rigid-frame gable-end walls, 26-gauge wall and Galvalume roof panels, roof overhangs, gutters and downspouts, galvanized primary structural members, and applicable Texas windstorm design compliance. The successful bidder must provide design and fabrication drawings, including an anchor-bolt layout, prepared, signed, and sealed by a Texas-licensed professional engineer. Foundation, electrical, plumbing, utilities, lighting, HVAC, and interior finishes are excluded and will be provided by others. Bidders may propose alternates if they include manufacturer specifications and demonstrate an adequate operating track record. The bid package requires completion and submission of the specified forms, references, certifications, and HUB-related documentation, along with one original and two numbered copies.
