Description
The City of Lake Charles is soliciting bids for one new sewer inspection system camera and crawler for its Public Works Department/Wastewater Division. The purchase includes removal of the existing equipment, installation of the new system, delivery FOB destination, and a firm delivery date. The system must support pipeline inspections from 4 to 54 inches and include a camera, steerable crawler, control pendant, auxiliary lamp, cable reel, camera lift, carriage, wheels, and related components meeting the detailed technical specifications. The requested equipment includes high-definition imaging, pan-and-tilt articulation, laser measurement, environmental sensors, IP-rated protection, a 984-foot cable reel, video and image capture, internal storage, and specified connectivity. Equivalent products may be acceptable, subject to the City's approval. The apparent low bidder must provide a product demonstration before final award. The successful bidder must perform manufacturer warranty work within a 200-mile roadway radius of Lake Charles or provide transportation to and from an authorized dealer at no cost to the City.
