Description
Bartow County School System is soliciting proposals for turnkey replacement of the baseball and softball scoreboards at Adairsville High School. The contractor must provide supervision, supplies, services, new commercial-grade outdoor equipment, mounting on new poles or existing structures as appropriate, electrical wiring and connections, power-supply information, setup, testing, calibration, functionality verification, staff training, and removal and disposal of the existing scoreboards. The proposed scoreboards must be designed for baseball and softball, support a 20-amp, 120-volt circuit, display the school name and mascot, provide home/visitor scoring, inning information, and ball-strike-out indicators, and include an internal or external horn or buzzer. LED displays and wireless controllers are preferred; pitch count may be offered as an alternate. Proposals must include a lump-sum turnkey price and unit pricing, along with qualifications, a current business license, industry certifications, at least three similar past projects, five client references, a project approach and completion timeline, exceptions if applicable, and a current certificate reflecting insurance and workers' compensation coverage. Equipment must be new and unused and supported for at least one year after installation.
