Description
The City of Mitchell is offering four approximately 50-by-54-foot hangar spaces at Mitchell Municipal Airport through a lottery. Interested parties must submit the provided Airport Hangar Lottery Submission Form in a sealed envelope by the stated deadline; the lottery will begin immediately after the forms are opened. Each participant may submit only one form, and selected participants may choose from the remaining available spaces. The initial rent is $450 per month, subject to change upon renewal. The initial lease term is five years and may be renewed by mutual agreement. The lease restricts use to hangar purposes, requires compliance with applicable laws, airport operating requirements, and Federal Aviation Administration regulations, and places maintenance, repair, insurance, indemnification, and other operational obligations on the lessee. The lease agreement is signed only by selected participants after the lottery.
