Description
The project involves repairing and resurfacing six tennis courts and one volleyball court at Boone Woods Park, plus four tennis courts and one basketball court at Central Park. Central Park Court #4 also requires both tennis and pickleball lines. Work includes cleaning and preparing existing surfaces, repairing cracks and low areas, grinding irregularities, applying acrylic resurfacer and color coatings, and installing textured court lines to the specified standards. Bidders must provide references for completed projects from the prior three years, proposed start and completion dates for each park, and a one-year materials and workmanship guarantee. The successful bidder must provide proof of liability and workers’ compensation insurance and a performance bond equal to 100% of the contract amount before work begins. The award is based on the lowest responsive and responsible bid, subject to the stated considerations.
