Description
Boone County seeks a complete GPS system for approximately 150–160 gas-powered golf carts at two golf courses. Each unit must include a screen at least 9 inches diagonally, mount to the center front underside of the cart roof, withstand outdoor conditions, draw power from the cart, turn on and off with the ignition, and avoid draining the battery when not in use. Proposals must include per-unit pricing that accommodates the final quantity. The proposed system must include management software for computers, tablets, and smartphones, with golf course mapping, cart tracking, geofencing alerts, and messaging. Per-unit pricing must include installation and staff training. The GPS units and software must be warranted for the agreement term. The proposal must describe the equipment and software, relevant experience, installation schedule, costs, agreement term, deviations or exceptions, and at least three relevant references from the past two years, including at least two public-agency references. If the proposed term exceeds two years, the proposal must account for removing the GPS units in December 2028 and installing them on the replacement fleet.
