Description
Boone County Fiscal Court is soliciting bids for milling and paving county roads and streets listed in the solicitation, including a jail work camp parking lot. Work includes labor, equipment, materials, pavement preparation, asphalt placement, milling, pavement markings, traffic control, and related work. Contractors must be prequalified by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC). A bid bond equal to 5% of the bid, including add alternates, must be submitted electronically with the bid; the successful bidder must furnish a surety bond equal to 100% of the contract amount. The successful bidder must also provide insurance documentation within 15 calendar days, including a certificate naming Boone County as an additional insured. Required bid submittals include a bid bond, deviations and exceptions if applicable, a proposed CPM schedule, a W-9, a certificate of insurance, applicable Kentucky bidder-status affidavits, the authorized representative's name and title, and confirmation of the bid terms and signature.
