Description
Northwest Shoals Community College is soliciting installation pricing to replace 12 gas-heat packaged HVAC units at Building 112 on its Muscle Shoals campus. The scope includes 10 rooftop-mounted units and two ground-mounted units, removal and disposal of existing equipment, crane or boom-truck services, curb-adapter and new-unit installation, and reconnection or replacement of electrical, gas piping, controls, and ductwork as required. The owner will provide the Trane equipment, rooftop curb adapters, and Trane controls; equipment and controls pricing must not be included in the installation price. The contractor must field-verify electrical capacity, provide new disconnects and whips, furnish breakers and wiring where needed, provide regulators and piping from regulators to units, construct necessary duct transitions, and integrate the controls with the existing Trane building automation system. The project must be completed within 30 days after issuance of the notice to proceed. ACCS prequalification is required, including submission of the ACCS Contractor Prequalification Application. The application requires evidence of similar completed projects, financial and bonding information, insurance capability, safety information, and supporting documentation.
