Parks Canada Agency requires roadside vegetation removal along both sides of Red Rock Parkway, Chief Mountain Highway, Akamina Parkway, and Highways 5 and 6 in Waterton Lakes National Park. The work includes mobilization and demobilization, brushing and removal of small trees, close-cut clearing, isolated tree removal, chipping or mulching, disposal of surface debris, and salvage management for larger timber. The approximate roadway lengths total 66 kilometers, with work generally extending up to 5 meters from the edge of each travel lane. The contractor must maintain traffic access, comply with environmental and occupational health and safety requirements, provide required equipment and site controls, and complete the work by March 31, 2027. Bidders must submit a two-part bid consisting of an Indigenous Participation Plan and associated documentation, followed by the Bid and Acceptance Form and Combined Price Form. The Indigenous Participation Plan accounts for 10% of the evaluation, with price accounting for 90%. Bid and contract security are expressly not required. Commercial general liability insurance is required after award, including minimum limits of $5,000,000 per occurrence, $10,000,000 annual general aggregate where applicable, and $5,000,000 products/completed operations aggregate.
