Description
The City of University City is seeking a contractor to evaluate and repair or restore the southwest front main entrance of City Hall. Potential work includes repairing, restoring, or replacing doors; refinishing or repairing surrounding woodwork; improving hardware and weather seals; installation; protection of adjacent areas; and cleanup. The completed entrance must operate properly, remain secure and weather resistant, and preserve the building’s existing appearance. Quotes must include the recommended scope and materials, total price, anticipated start date, material lead time, estimated completion time, warranty and maintenance information, exclusions or assumptions, any requested deposit or payment schedule, business contact information, and comparable project references. Contractors should explain how temporary closure and site security will be coordinated. Work may begin only after written authorization, and additional work requires prior written approval.
