Description
This sources sought notice requests information from potential providers of a clinical documentation integrity training program for clinical documentation integrity specialists, coders, health information management staff, physicians, providers, and registered nurse advisor champions. The proposed program includes one year of online curriculum access with four one-year option periods, specialty-specific self-paced modules, and virtual and in-person instruction. Topics include coding and documentation standards, clinical indicators, compliant queries, reimbursement concepts, case review, CDI operations, regulatory compliance, and ongoing learning and assessment. The anticipated scope also includes assessing current workflows and recommending improvements; developing or revising query templates; providing refresher, Q&A, and regulatory-update support; participating in collaborative meetings; supplying training materials and reference guides; and delivering a curriculum outline, training sessions, assessment report, query templates, attendance records, evaluations, and a final summary report.
