Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking a quotation for three gasket units, NSN 5330-00-850-7910, part or approved alternate. The item must contain no asbestos, and alternate offers must include a complete data package for both the approved and alternate parts because adequate evaluation data is not available to the Government. The solicitation identifies approved sources and associated part numbers, including Lockheed Martin Corporation part number C-496-1, Rubbercraft Corporation of California part number 40242, and Stillman Seal Corporation part number BA5058. The requirement is for supply and delivery within 20 days after award, FOB origin, with destination inspection and acceptance. Packaging, preservation, marking, and shipping must comply with the stated military requirements, including MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129; the item must be packaged in a medium-duty, waterproof, greaseproof, opaque bag in accordance with MIL-DTL-117, Type II, Class C, Style 1. All quotes must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System by September 28, 2026.
