Description
The Town of Canton is soliciting sealed bids for Phase 3 improvements to its water treatment plant. The work generally includes improvements to the raw water intake, modifications to the existing intake, replacement of raw water pumps, and associated piping and controls. Bids must include a bid deposit or bid bond equal to five percent of the total bid. Bidders must be appropriately licensed contractors under North Carolina law and comply with applicable State Reserve Project grant and loan requirements, Section 3 requirements, labor standards, equal-opportunity provisions, and other specified federal and state contract provisions. Addenda must be reviewed and acknowledged on the bid form.
