Description
Kitsap County, Department of Community Development, is soliciting bids for the Dyes Inlet Lagoon Bulkhead Removal and Shoreline Restoration Project. The project involves installing temporary erosion and sediment control measures, removing existing shoreline armor (including rock walls, concrete rubble, and wood pilings), and constructing a new retaining wall. It also includes excavating, regrading, and recontouring the shoreline bank, importing and installing beach cobble and gravel-sand nourishment, and properly disposing of demolition materials. Additionally, the project requires importing compost and wood chip mulch for planting areas, importing and placing crushed rock for paths, and installing four habitat logs. Prospective bidders are responsible for ensuring timely delivery of their bids to the Kitsap County Purchasing Office by the submission deadline.
