Description
The City of Bremerton is soliciting Statements of Qualification (SOQ) from consulting firms with expertise in Civil and Stormwater Engineering Design for the Oyster Bay Regional Treatment Facilities project. This project involves advancing the existing concept design to a 90% complete level, including engineering plans, cost estimates, and specifications. The scope also includes obtaining all necessary permits and approvals for work within the Oyster Bay shoreline zone, such as a JARPA form, Biological Assessment, Mitigation Plan, SEPA checklist, Inadvertent Discovery Plan, and Shoreline Substantial Development Permit application. Permits will be obtained from the City of Bremerton, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, and the Corps of Engineers. The project is funded by a Department of Ecology grant and local match funds. The City reserves the right to retain the services of the selected firm for subsequent project phases, including Final Design and Construction Phase Services. Submittals will be evaluated based on the qualifications of the project team, experience on similar projects, project approach, project management, and familiarity with applicable standards.
