Description
The City of Nanaimo is soliciting proposals for the supply and delivery of one new mid-size battery-electric vehicle capable of comfortably seating five adults, including delivery in operating condition. The vehicle must satisfy all mandatory requirements in the bid form and specifications, including a minimum driving range of 350 km, an overall length between 4,572 mm and 4,978 mm inclusive, ground clearance of at least 127 mm, and either a CCS or NACS charging port with DC fast-charging capability. Failure to meet any mandatory requirement will result in a non-compliant proposal. The City may purchase additional units of the same vehicle at the same unit price and under the same terms and conditions for one year from the Agreement date. The procurement is for goods and will be evaluated under the RFP requirements; delivery is to the City of Nanaimo Public Works Yard, Fleet Department.
