Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business to provide annual, 5-year, 6-year, 10-year, and 12-year fire extinguisher inspections and maintenance. The work includes servicing 5-pound and 10-pound stored-pressure chemical, carbon dioxide, water, water mist, and wet-chemical extinguishers in accordance with the current edition of NFPA 10, including recharge and hydrostatic testing where applicable. The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, materials, collection and distribution services, temporary replacement extinguishers, and inspection documentation. Work must be performed onsite at Central Texas Veterans Health Care System facilities in Temple, Waco, and Austin, Texas. The contractor may not subcontract the work. The solicitation requests a completed price schedule, a signed limitations-on-subcontracting certification, a capability statement describing the technical approach, and references for up to three similar contracts performed within the last five years.
