Description
The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support is conducting market research on prime-vendor support for fresh fruits and vegetables for military and federally funded customers in Veracruz and Progreso, Mexico. The contemplated support includes sourcing food items, receiving and consolidating materials, warehousing and inventory management, transportation, electronic order acceptance and delivery, and quality assurance. The RFI asks vendors about their capacity to support the requirement, business size and type, existing facilities, ability to provide prime-vendor services in the specified areas, sourcing concerns, and ability to present pricing as product price plus a fixed distribution price.
